The Al Sufouh light rail system is characterized by several different types stations as well as a varying surrounding urban landscapes.

4

The stations have designed in such way that the impact of direct sunlight and overheating (especially in summer) is avoided.

3

Important architectural measure to that effect is the overhanging roof, which make the stations instantly recognizable as part of the family of stations of the Al Sufouh line.

5 (1)

The stations become almost unapparent shelters, resulting in minimalist architecture, which whilst clearly visible, has only restricted impact on its surroundings.
